Exams

We have been a registered exam centre since 2018, and have helped hundreds of students take exams, both GCSE and A levels, in a large range of subjects.

We are delighted to be able to serve the homeschooling community in the St Albans area and further afield, students who are not attending mainstream schooling and those who are looking for a more bespoke examination service that allows students' individual needs to be met. If you are a private candidate and are looking to sit exams for GCSE or A levels, we can help you. We are a registered CIE, Edexcel, AQA and OCR exam centre, qualified to facilitate all exams. We are a small, friendly centre, which is optimal for any special educational needs. Our exam status allows us to process access arrangements for all exams.

If you are looking to enter a candidate for this summer or an alternative exam series, contact us at info@stalbanstuitioncentre.co.uk or 01727260239 and we will take you through the procedure. In order for us to ensure you are entered for the correct exam, you must complete a registration form with all the necessary details (candidate information, exam titles and codes, and any access arrangements). Once this has been returned to us, we will send you an invoice and make the entry once payment has been made. You will then receive a statement of entry to confirm the exams you have entered your candidate for.

Through our partnership organisation, Marvellous Minds Tuition (https://www.marvellousmindstuition.co.uk/), we are also able to facilitate exams in Bedford at their centrally location exam centre.

This summer, the exam process looks different, with students no longer sitting exams. The alternative to this is teacher-assessed grades, and we will do all we can to ensure this process as smooth as possible for both parents and candidates.
